Parking Permits Application
Residential Permit Parking District

Applies to single-family property (i.e. up to a maximum 4 housing units per parcel). Multi-family properties must contact the City of Lynwood Public Safety Division for assistance.

Please follow the steps below to obtain your initial Annual/Guest Parking Permit(s):

Complete the online application form.

Submit two copies of proof of residency indicated below:

California Driver’s License

Vehicle Registration

Upload verification documents online.

Click on ‘Pay by credit card’ to purchase online. A temporary permit will be issued while information is verified.

Once your residency has been verified and full payment has been made, a parking permit decal will be mailed to you.

Please note, there are no refunds for submitting incorrect or false information.

Annual Residential Parking Permit Requirements:

Garages or other parking areas being used for storage may be a basis for denial of permit.

Permits must be properly displayed on the top left corner of the front windshield and clearly visible to be valid.

Permit may not cover the vehicle identification number.

Permit is valid current date – January 1st of next year.

Permit is valid only for the vehicle on this application.

Initial Permit Fee is $25.00 per vehicle and the renewal fee is $15.00 per vehicle. (Online Convenience Fee will be applied)

No more than 3 annual permits will be issued per participating address unless authorized by the City.

Guest Residential Parking Permit:

Each household may purchase a maximum of 5 (five) 1-day guest permits at $1.00 per permit. (Online Convenience Fee will be applied) A maximum of 15 (fifteen) one day visitor permits within a 30-day period per address is allowed.

Each household may purchase a maximum of 1 (one) 14-day guest permits at $10.00 per permit within any 30-day periodfconvi (Online Convenience Fee will be applied)

Overnight Parking City Lots:
Please follow the steps below to obtain your Daily Overnight Parking Permits(s):
Daily Overnight Parking Permits can only be used within the below locations and during the time of 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, only.

Cesar Chavez Lane from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to Birch Street

11400 block of Birch Street (City Park parking area, West Side of park)

Hosler Middle School Parking Lot

Sanborn Avenue Off-street Parking Lot

Mulford Avenue Off-Street Parking Lot

Daily Overnight Parking Permit:

Permits may be purchased in 1 day increments.

Permit fee is $1.00 per day per vehicle (Online Convenience Fee will be applied)

Please note that you must be connected to a printer in order to print your Temporary Parking Permit.
